After 11 years of activity, first with HTC Essex, secondly with the more known Flanders Fields, the team principal has decided to cease the team's activities.
It has been an awesome few years, participating in our first Tour, winning that first jersey, training almost our whole sprinting squad ourselves.
There are a lot of awesome memories here, unfortunately, time has caught up on me.
One of my main goals was to own my own climbing squad together with my sprinting one. Sadly this is what also lead to my decision.
Running two different oriented squads was to difficult, for example: putting riders on RB manually after every race was impossible to follow up.
It is with pain in my heart that I leave this game. I hope one day I'll be able to return.
This game brought me a lot of pleasure, and made me meet various kind of people.
Starting as a 15 year old kid, I have so many beautiful memories to it that will be forever linked to my childhood.
I hope you all the best for your futures, that it be in OCM or IRL.
And like they would say in my region of Belgium: "Ce n'est qu'un aurevoir"
